The Rycote InVision INV-7 & INV-7HG & INV-7KIT Microphone Suspension addresses the demand for a heavy-duty shock mount to secure shotgun microphones. The INV-7 will minimalize handling noise, rumble, and vibration in all speech-capturing applications.
The stand adapter itself features an integrated cable clip for securing excess cable and minimizing noise. The unique lyre suspension is engineered with Hytrel for a virtually indestructible design that maximizes shock and noise suppression.
The InVision suspension system is available in various clip sizes to accommodate different microphones.
- Large Lyre Suspension for Boom Operation
- The large lyre suspension webs measure 70mm high and 40mm wide to accommodate heavier microphones. This is ideal for static stand mounting as well as boom placement.
- Hytrel Construction
- The unique lyre suspension is engineered with Hytrel for a virtually indestructible design that maximizes shock and noise suppression.
- Integrated 3/8″ Threaded Stand Adapter
- A 3/8″ threaded stand adapter is featured at the base for microphone stand mounting.
Rycote INV-7: The entire mount is comprised of two large InVision lyres with two clips that accommodate microphone bodies measuring 19 to 25mm in diameter. The lyres rest on a bar with a 3/8″ threaded stand adapter at the base. The long support bar on this model accommodates microphones longer than 120mm.
Rycote INV-7HG MkIII: The InVision Lyre cradle accommodates most microphones measuring 19 to 34mm in diameter, like the Sennheiser MKH416 or MKH60. The cradle stabilizes even heavy microphones and allows the use of windscreens without sagging. A heavy-duty swivel with a star knob fastens your mic tightly in place. The Lyre cradle rests on a miniature bar with a 3/8″ threaded base and includes a 5/8″ adapter.
Rycote INV-7 Kit: The kit includes an InVision INV-7 suspension based on 2 Lyre webs, which will accommodate shotgun mics from 19 to 25mm in diameter. This helps broadcast professionals with a clean sound, free from unwanted cable or stand-borne noise. The suspension is combined with an InVision Pop Filter, allowing the mic to be used for voiceover or dialogue replacement work in the studio. The InVision Pop Filter features a carefully designed custom mesh that attenuates low-frequency pops and thumps by up to 20 dB without causing high-frequency loss. The foam mesh filter may also be removed for cleaning or replacement.
